She completed residency training in anatomic & clinical pathology as well as fellowships in cytopathology and surgical pathology at Scott & White Memorial Hospital/Texas A&M Health Science Center Baylor Scott & White Health in Temple, TX.
She completed rotations in neuropathology at MD Anderson Cancer Centre/University of Texas at Houston in Houston, soft tissue pathology/frozen section service at The Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN, transplant surgery at The Medical University of Innsbruck in Innsbruck, Austria and international health with Helping Hands Children’s Hospital/The Mountain Fund Moving Medical Clinic in Kathmandu, Nepal
