Richard Owings, M.D., FCAP

Dr. Owings obtained a Bachelor of Arts from Hendrix College in Conway, AR in 2005.  He graduated medical school in 2009 with Honors in Research from University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock, AR.

He completed AP/CP pathology residency in 2013 at University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock, where he was the Chief Resident during his fourth year of residency.  Following residency, he pursued fellowship training in Breast Pathology at the Harvard affiliated hospital, Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Department of Pathology.

Dr. Owings is board certified in Anatomic/Clinical Pathology with a Fellowship in Breast Pathology.  He is licensed in Louisiana.
