Dr. McLaren pursued her undergraduate at Washington and Lee University in Lexington, VA and medical school studies at Baylor College of Medicine.  She completed her pathology residency at the University of Cincinnati and LSU Health Science Center in Shreveport as well as a fellowship/training at Vanderbilt University in Nashville for breast pathology.

Dr. McLaren is board certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology.  She is licensed in Louisiana and Tennessee.
