Dr. Smith graduated summa cum laude from Louisiana Tech University in Ruston, LA.  She received her Doctorate of Medicine from LSU School of Medicine in Shreveport, LA.  She completed her internship and residency in Anatomic/Clinical Pathology at LSU Medical Center in Shreveport, LA.

Dr. Smith is board certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology.  She is licensed in the state of Louisiana.
