Dr. Ryan pursued his undergraduate degree at LSU in Baton Rouge, LA with a BS in biological sciences, a minor in chemistry, and a secondary in education. He then attended St. George’s University School of Medicine in Grenada, West Indies and graduated with a MD degree. Dr. Ryan completed his AP/CP pathology residency training at Augusta University Medical Center in Augusta, GA. He then completed a one year cytopathology fellowship at the Medical University of South Carolina, in Charleston, SC followed by a one year fellowship in general surgical pathology at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque, NM before joining our Delta Pathology team.

Dr. Ryan is board certified in Anatomic/Clinical Pathology and Cytology by the American Board of Pathology. He is licensed in Louisiana and New Mexico.
